This position primarily prepares drawings, technically processes basic engineer orders for customer approval, programs the 2D Laser, and generates advanced Engineering Change Orders for manufactured products. The Technician is assigned basic work and is occasionally involved in assisting with more complex projects. This position is responsible for processing, coordinating, approving, and communicating with Operations and Process Engineering on all Engineering Changes for the location. A list of other job duties follow below:

  1. Programs CNC equipment for new component for time and material efficiency.

  2. Interfaces with Operations and Engineering to determine production feasibility for all New Parts.

  3. Designs basic custom products by using AutoCAD and Solidworks

  4. Interprets and answers basic marketing questions, relative to products manufactured on the custom side.

  5. Interfaces with Operations to determine production feasibility for all custom orders.


Associates degree in Engineering or a related field.

2-3 years of relevant experience.

Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
