Job Description Summary
The Interprofessional Healthcare Workforce Institute at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science welcome applications for a part-time Research Assistant. This is an offsite position. Work location is in Minneapolis, MN at St. Kate’s. The principle role of the Research Assistant is to provide technical and administrative support for a research project. Under general supervision of research investigators the individual needs to be able to perform research-related duties and tasks. These may entail engaging in activities with other academic institutions and senior care providers to accomplish the goals of the research study.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Collects and maintains survey and interview data; answers questions pertaining to participation and consent, while also assisting in administering tests and questionnaires following protocols; maintain detailed records of results, which may include collecting, extracting, and entering data; and preparing basic charts and graphs.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or related education and experience; must be CITI (Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative) certified or able to attain certification within the first week of employment; must achieve a background check clearance.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to multi-task; knowledge of survey software and use; ability to work independently and on a team; strong attention to detail; confidentiality and understanding of privacy security of information; data collection methods; data management; field research; literature reviews; strong oral/written communication.

Work is performed in a typical office environment and will be conducted in a climate-controlled office with extensive use of computers, telephones and other office equipment.
