I. SUMMARY**__This position ensures adherence to corporate policies as well as banking regulations by assisting with the administration of the Bank’s AML compliance program. The analyst’s primary responsibilities will be to perform Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) reviewsof potential matches on customer names and transactions, complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), monetary instrument monitoring, and assist with preparing customer due diligence (CDD)/ enhanced due diligence (EDD) review files of high risk customers.

  • Reviews and resolves alerts generated through ongoing merchant monitoring;

  • Reviews and resolves alerts of high risk customers generated through the bank’s negative news portal;

  • Reviews and resolves OFAC alerts and respond to OFAC-related compliance questions;

  • Prepares and submits CTRs in an accurate and timely manner according to regulatory guidelines;

  • Monitors and maintains records related to the cash sale of monetary instruments;

  • Conducts system searches in response to law enforcement inquiries provided via FinCEN’s 314(a) list;

  • Assists with preparing customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews, including background searches, file preparation, etc.;

  • Assists with new business account review and exception reporting;

  • Assists with FATCA review and approval;

  • Understands and complies with all Bank policies and procedures, and federal and state laws and regulations pertinent to this position; stays informed and shares updates on changes with management;

  • Required to successfully complete all required Compliance training;

  • Continuously supports the Bank’s Mission Statement and Core Values;

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Associate's degree from a college or university and one year related experience preferred
